MIRROR balls will be spinning as night fever takes over a funked-up Malvern Theatres next week.

Wall to wall sensational 70s sounds will fill the Festival Theatre as the era that refuses to be forgotten is celebrated like never before.

And, as pantos take over most theatres at this time of year, this retro party promises a refreshing change for those of us who don't relish calling 'he's behind you' for the umpteenth time.

The Night Fever Party is set to include a live band, a full company of dancers and the best singers in the business to ensure everyone is transported back to the age of peace and disco.

And revellers are encouraged to slip on their flares and pull on their platforms to help them to get into the party spirit and boogie on down to hits including Waterloo, I Will survive, It's Raining Men and Disco Inferno. Malvern Theatres' Louise Russell said: "Malvern will see people in big flares, big hair and even bigger platforms and there will even be prizes for best dressed as the Night Fever Party arrives in town.

"We are thrilled to host this show as it gives people a chance to be transported back in time and enjoy something a little different."

Premier Shows Ltd presents the hit event as part of its nation-wide tour and audiences have been flocking to see the 70s revival in all its glory.

Anyone who loves the 70s - whether they were there at the time or just wish they had been - is sure to have a groovy night at this more unusual theatre experience.

The Night Fever Party is on at the Festival Theatre, Malvern, from December 7 to 9. Tickets are priced £10 to £16 and can be booked on 01684 892277 or www.malvern-theatres.co.uk
