DELICIOUS dishes are on the menu after a Pershore delicatessen-owner whipped up a charity cookbook full of original recipes.
Helen Saunders, of Capers in the High Street, Pershore, was so frequently asked for her recipes that she decided to write them down.
After adding contributions from customers, she created a cookbook called Culinary Capers which is being sold in aid of St Richard's Hospice.
"It's packed with relaxed recipes for the scared cook," said Helen.
"By that I mean that it's designed for people who want easy-to-follow recipes which produce stunning, tasty food but without spending hours and hours in the kitchen.
"They are all original, tried-and-tested recipes which are quick and easy but produce great results."
Helen launched Culinary Capers last week to celebrate three years of being in business in Pershore.
Tricia Cavell, St Richard's fund-raising manager, said: "It's a great cook book to have in the kitchen - a real inspiration for everyone who doesn't have time to spend all day at the stove but still wants to create a healthy, tasty and quick meal.
"We are very grateful to Helen for choosing the hospice to benefit from the book."
St Richard's Hospice is currently based at Rose Hill in Worcester where it cares for patients with cancer and other long-term illnesses.
Building work has recently started on the new hospice near County Hall, Spetchley, and campaigners are working to raise the remaining £250,000 needed to complete the Building Beds Together campaign.
