KIDDERMINSTER Cobras topsyturvy start to the West Midlands Premier League season continued with a 68-44 defeat at reigning champions Warley.
After holding a slender lead early on and being just 13 points adrift going into the final quarter, Cobras fell just short. Despite some great scores from Iain Miles and five three pointers from man-of-the-match John Jackson, Warley's class told in the end.
Quarter Scores: 13-11, 18-7 (31-18), 9-9 ( 40-27), 28-17 (68-44)
Scorers: John Jackson 18, Mark Davis 7, Iain Miles 6, Mark Thornhill 6, Lester Green 4, Roy Francis 3.
