The Open was held on Mucky Meadow Pool, when the first two anglers, Tim Jones and Mark Bedford found the waggler the most effective, Jones using maggot and corn, and Bedford using caster and corn.

Silver fish were scarce during the match, but there plenty of chub and roach were caught by pleasure anglers this week. Maggot, caster and corn have been the most effective baits, and the waggler had the edge over pole-fishing.
