FOUR-time Paralympian Janet McMorran has been presented with a prestigious lifetime achievement award by Wheelpower British Wheelchair Sport.
The 55-year-old Bromyard tennis player has stormed away with seven national and 21 international titles during her distinguished career.
And McMorran, who was a member of the Paralympics GB team at the Athens 2004 Games, insisted : "I haven't finished yet, but I'm definitely leaving the London 2012 Paralympic Games to the youngsters."
The award was made at the 10th annual British Wheelchair Sports Awards ceremony in Reading.
The individual male achievement award went to wheelchair racer David Weir, who had a superb year.
Weir won the 400 metre title at the European Open Paralympic Championships in Finland, finished third in the London Marathon and claimed both the Great North and Great South Run events.
Up-and-coming tennis player Lucy Shuker won the women's individual award, while the GB archery team took the team event award.
The GB wheelchair rugby team, who successfully defended their European Championship title, won the team sport award.
Wheelchair racer Shelly Woods, second to Francesca Porcellato in this year's London Marathon, was named best newcomer.
