AT the annual meeting the Points Cup for competition results throughout the year was presented to Dallas Henderson.
The many activities of the previous year had included a visit to Highgrove, a "punch and pie" party, and Areley Kings hosted the autumn Forest Group meeting.
Retiring president Mary Wehner, and Mollie Long, presented a "duologue" on WI.
Suzanne Owen, WI adviser, told members the reasons for selling WI House, Worcester, and the purchase of new premises on Elgar business park.
Patsy Anderson was elected president, and the evening ended with the Co-operative Cup competition for a "tea tray to tempt an invalid", which was won by Pauline Hadwell and Margaret Cook.
The next meeting will be at the village hall on Monday, December 12 at 7.30pm when Margaret Peter will present "An Entertainment for Christmas".
