WYRE Forest Primary Care Trust has announced that planning is at an early stage to redevelop Kidderminster Health Centre.
Funding has also been secured for the re-provision of Northumberland House and Aylmer Lodge Surgeries as a joint development.
Planning for this project is also at an early stage and the final site has yet to be identified but the intention is to make it as close as possible to existing services and cause minimum inconvenience.
Gillian Goodlad, acting primary care lead for the PCT said: "These developments are exciting news for primary care in Wyre Forest and they represent further significant investment in the improvement of local services.
"All the practices named have been struggling for a long time to provide healthcare in cramped, out-of-date facilities.
"The new premises will generate sufficient capacity for the growth of enhanced services from primary healthcare teams and also enable the possible inclusion of other services such as health specialists, voluntary sector services and 'seasonal' users."
