SIR - I see that Mayor Aubrey Tarbuck was cosying up to Worcester's twin town visitors. I trust that those visitors arrived in the Faithful City by train as opposed to road.
Had they arrived by road I am sure they would have felt insulted that there is still no city boundary signs to say we the citizens are twinned with Kleve, Le Vesinet and Worcester, Massachusetts.
Go to any city in this land that has a twinning arrangement and those boundaries will declare their status with their twins.
Not so this uncaring council. It can find a million pounds to supply wheelie bins or £300 to declare free car parking, but cannot find a smidgen of citizens' money to erect suitable signs at our city boundaries. Disgraceful - come on Aubrey, show us what you can do.
JOHN W PEDLEY,
Worcester.
