IDENTICAL twins Jemima and Sienna Levy from Bidford have become calendar girls in a bid to raise cash for a national multiple birth charity.

The 14-month-old babies beat off stiff competition to appear in the twins calendar which is boosting the coffers of Tamba, the UK charity for twins and multiple births.

They were chosen from hundreds for entrants by the team behind www.twinsclub.co.uk, which is a site set up offering advice and support for parents of twins, triplets and more receiving more than a quarter of a million hits a week.

Mum Susan Levy said: "It was amazing to be chosen. The calendar is such a beautiful keepsake, and we're proud to be contributing to such a worthy cause close to our hearts."

The girls, born at just 34 weeks and weighing 4lb 1oz and 3lb 14oz, are featured on the June page of the calendar.

"It's been lifeline for many people and I hope that parents of multiples can find friendship and support there, like I have," Susan added.

Twinsclub spokeswoman Lindsey Gray said: "We were bowled over by the girls and couldn't leave them out."

"We had over 1,000 photographs submitted and only 76 made it to into the calendar. There are 12 main photographs to accompany each month and Sienna and Jemima are our main photo in our June page."

The calendar costs £10.50 including postage and package and is available online from twinsclub.co.uk or by calling Tamba on 0870 7703305.
