VETERAN Steve Ferguson looks set to make his Feckenham return in tonight's Worcestershire Senior Urn tie with Brierley & Hagley Alliance at the Valley Stadium.
The former Redditch United and Worcester City favourite has been playing for Stratford Town in the Midland Alliance but is likely to figure for the Millers in their cup tie.
Manager Lee Adams saw his side sweep aside basement club Continental Star 7-3 at the weekend but was left frustrated by a series of individual errors that gifted the goals to their lowly opponents.
If we had kept a clean sheet then Steve Ferguson would probably not have played," Adams admitted. "But he is available and I know he will tighten us up along the back. He is a top player and will give us a massive boost."
New additions Lee Ross and Nicky Clarke should also be in the starting line-up for the cup tie after making the scoresheet at the weekend, former Wolves trainee Clarke netting the opener with Ross, on loan from Midland Alliance outfit Studley, netting four of his side's goals.
"Lee will score plenty of goals at this level," Adams added. "He is a nice lad and a fantastic player and I'm delighted to have him at Feckenham even if it is only for a short-term spell.
"Nicky has not played any football for 18 months but looked very good before he got tired."
The weekend's win ensured the Millers stretched their unbeaten run to five matches and a win tonight would give the players a massive boost ahead of Saturday's match with Valley Stadium visitors Shifnal Town.
