RIGHT from the start Evesham set about YMCA who were hardly allowed a look-in in this C & G League Cup clash.

The goals came thick and fast with Bryn Tomes and Henry Woods setting up Sam Ford for the first.

Woods converted a second after Ford's cross was helped on by Louis Brown, while another Ford cross was helped on by Woods for Elliot Grady to finish.

Brown then scored from a corner, Woods rounded the keeper for a fifth, before Evans found the net himself after a surging run.

The second half followed the same pattern and Harrison Cother ran in to score from the edge of the box.

Evans added another from a Grady cross and the provider then found the net himself with help from Woods.

Woods lobbed the advancing keeper from 25 yards then nonchalantly rolled a ball into the net for yet another.

Grady matched Woods in this master class of finishing to complete his hat-trick, before Evans and James Bearcroft set up Cother for his second.

Evans completed the rout, and his hat trick, after Powell's shot was blocked in the six-yard box.

EVESHAM sailed into the next round of the Midlands Junior Premiership Cup with an emphatic 7-4 aggregate win.

The deadlock, in what appeared to be a tight game, was broken when Elliot Grady found the net after making time and space for himself on the left.

Into the second half and Tom Evans won the ball in midfield and crossed for Grady to leap and head the ball over the goalkeeper.

Debutant Ivan Masica then latched on to another pass from Evans before firing home from inside the box and the substitute then added a second after a Louis Brown shot had been spilled.

Callowbrook Swifts 3

UNITED found themselves two goals adrift in the early stages on Sunday and only an excellent save from Tom Bennett prevented a further concession.

Angus Steele's strike prior to the break lifted Evesham spirits and Dan Wilcox levelled soon after the restart.

Steele made it 3-2 before completing his treble and a third from the hosts proved no more than consolation at the end of a hard-fought clash.

Bidford 1, Badsey Rgrs U-10 3

RANGERS retained their undefeated record with a hard-fought success when Matty Andrew and Ryan Dixon were on target.

Dan Orton fed Dixon for the opener after 22 minutes but Badsey had to wait until after the break to double their lead when Andrew netted after good play from Dixon and player of the match Callum Grieve.

The lead was quickly halved but Grieve's fine run set up Andrew to seal victory.

BADSEY'S recent improved form served them well as they overcame stubborn opponents.

James Schembri gave Rangers the lead but it was all-square when Saras levelled just before half-time.

Schembri was instrumental in ensuring the visitors collected maximum points after lashing in his side's second and then completing his hat-trick seven minutes from time.

JAMIE Colls bagged all five goals as United recorded their first win of the season.

Plucky Pershore fell behind three times in the first half that ended 3-3 but Evesham kept pushing forward and Colls proved the difference between the sides.

DRAKES produced their best display of the season to claim a hard-fought win.

Tom Greenwood scored the only goal of a game in which stand-in goalkeeper Andrew Fletcher helped keep out the home side.

GOALS from Charlie Banning and Lee Bowles gave United a 2-0 interval advantage.

Good defensive play from player of the match James Spencer helped foil a home comeback before further strikes from Banning and Bowles sealed a comfortable win.

TWO second half goals from Leon Napper earned United the points.

IT was goalless at half-time after which Napper's strikes and some excellent saves from player of the match Jack Carter proved crucial.

THE Robins recorded an eighth successive win to overcome the Mercian League leaders with player of the match Daniel Bowles giving his side the lead.

Albion levelled but Leon Napper bagged the winner to send his side to the summit.

Harvington U-10 1, Broadway 9

BROADWAY maintained their unbeaten sequence with an emphatic win over stubborn opponents.

Only a fine save from Arron Parkes ensured the visitors turned round a solitary goal to the good but they then turned on the style to add eight more after the restart before Harvington netted a late consolation.

The gals came courtesy of Alex Johnson (2), Jack Perks, Alex Robinson, Sam Nicholls, Cameron Jones, Rory Gaine, Nathan Griffin and Jamie Hargreaves.

Littleton 4, Pershore U-14 4

HIGH riding Pershore took the lead in a thrilling contest when the lead changed hands three times.

Chris Handy made it 1-1 and Jack Dell then gave Littleton the lead only for the leaders to show their mettle with a second goal.

They then grabbed a third but a tactical switch proved the key factor and two goals from Jamie Banks and tireless play from player of the match Jack Philpot brought Littleton victory.

UNITED stormed to their biggest ever victory with both Martin DeFranco and Oliver Grove netting hat-tricks.

The former led the way with a four-goal haul and the other goals came from Michael Jennings (2), Jack Lowe and two from player of the match Kieran Grady.

Badsey Rgrs U-8 10

FROM the moment Ryan Attwood netted in the opening minute, there was only going to be one winner.

The same player soon made it 2-0 before Tom Benfield and Jordan Lymn joined in the fun to make it 4-1 at the interval.

Lymn scored four more in the second half as Rangers seized complete control and the win was rounded off with goals from Nathan Bolland and Robbie Wallace.

DANIELLE Monks scored the only goal of a tense encounter as an excellent team effort proved the key to victory in a nail-biting contest.

The margin of victory should have been far wider but chances went to waste and the winners were indebted to solid performances at the back allied to a commanding show from goalkeeper Lauren Colledge.
