Evesham II 38pts,
Edwardians II 22
EVESHAM entertained higher ranked opposition on Satur-day when they produced a magnificent display to claim a fine win.
The day didn't start well with fly-half Phil Parsons being forced out of the clash after an early injury and they had to play the rest of the match with 14 men.
Stuart Stock earned himself a sin-binning so the hosts to play for a while with just 13 players.
Edwardians played with bulk and discipline but found the home defence in resolute mood.
Evesham unearthed a new star in winger Ben Holme who had a superb afternoon by scoring four tries. He was ably supported by veteran full back Tim Carsberg who kicked five conversions and a penalty.
Workhorse flanker Craig Brotherton scored the final try on an afternoon when the winners showed grit and determination throughout with Adam Scott and Dic-kie Andrews both showing up well in a fine team effort.
