Evesham and District Disabled AC & Partnerships
THIRTEEN members met on a damp and dismal morning on a private lake for the club's annual Fur and Feather match.
The contest was also the last in this year's Fiesta Cakes Autumn League and resulted in victory for Wayne Panting with a winning weight of 27.14.0.
Ray Woods (25.4.0) was second, Antony Icke third (20.8.0) and guest competitor Terry Pitcher fourth (12.15.0).
There are no more matches planned until February.
Evesham Jubilee Society
A THIN layer of ice greeted anglers at the Fishery last Sunday but sport was excellent and bodes well for the forthcoming winter matches.
Alan Gardner topped the standings ahead of Stu Thompson and Phil Seedhouse.
Members are asked to book in for the Fur and Feather and also the Turkey Open at the Jubilee Fishery on Saturday, December 10.
Ring John Davis on 01386 41273 for inclusion in both matches with the draw for the Turkey Open taking place at 9am with fishing for five hours from 10. All-in ticket price is £10.

IT'S the Fur and Feather on Sunday when the draw takes place at the Ferry Cafe at 7.45am.
Call in at tackle shops to reserve your place and obtain full details.
The following weekend, December 11, there's second round action in the Winter League when again the Ferry is the venue for the draw at 7.45am.
Team members are asked to confirm attendance with captains.
