ANYONE wanting to discover more about the wonders of Worcestershire has until this Saturday to take a journey around the county without travelling further than around a couple of floors in a local building.
Since moving to the area Michael Tennyson has produced a series of mixed media images as part of his discovery of the county, as well as some parts of the surrounding arera.
He has used these images to mount an exhibition at the Artrix in Bromsgrove for the past month.
He says the exhibition is a journey of discovery for him of what is a new place, a different part of the world. And he says it can be explored in a couple of ways.
Objectively, he says, there are 30 prints of scenes around the area on the ground and first floors of the Artrix, or the display can be taken subjectively, as he sees it exploring the issue of accessibility.
This is something he believes is always a significant issue in visual art.
There are a number of scenes of the Bromsgrove and Droitwich areas, including Tardebigge, Hanbury and Chaddesley Corbett and all of the prints are for sale at the exhibition.
The print above shows the parish church at Hanbury.
