Leicester's Chris Peberdy, fishing off peg 42 on the Town, caught seven chub - the heaviest being 4-7-0 - weighing in a total of 14-9-0 taken on waggler/maggot.

In second place was past world champion Clive Branson from Cardiff who netted 250 roach with bread punch off Town peg 10 for 14-0-0.

WB Clarke captain Leigh Gardner was placed third with 11-8-0 off Town peg 56 and fellow team angler Adrian Narbeth was fourth (10-7-0).
