SIR - It was no surprise to read of the county council's 'new' ideas for relocating Chrissies.
The two sites mentioned are the same ones that the county council has been eyeing up for five years. But the county council's planning application for Earls Court (February 11, 2003) said: "The Rushwick site is under nine hectares and is discounted because it is too small and is a difficult shape to accommodate the school. It is also dissected by a 132,000-volt overhead electricity tower line and is partly affected by flooding from the adjacent Laugherne Brook."
Three years later, this all seems to have been forgotten and the county council is spending even more of our money on research to contradict what they already know. I suggest Jennifer Barnes should be elected to replace Liz Eyre. St John's needs someone who knows what's going on.
BILL DAVISON,
CHRISS spokesman.
