YOUNGSTERS at a Droitwich Spa school are hoping to get on the right side of the law thanks to an extra qualification.
Pupils at Droitwich Spa High School, Briar Mill, have been given the chance to learn and study GCSE Law before being able to sit an exam to gain the additional qualification. Teachers at the school give pupils the opportunity to attend an extra class every Tuesday night after school in the hope they may continue the subject in further education. They learn about many aspects of law including Family Law, Contractual Law and Wills. Teacher Mary Turner said: "This is a great opportunity for the pupils who are clearly committed to it because they do it in their own time. We hope that the course will prove to be a stepping stone for some of the pupils."
