Bromsgrove Indoor Bowls Club battled out a last gasp victory over North Wiltshire side Christie Millar in the Denny Cup.
The quartet of Brian Harper, Berrill Everton, Ian Crowe and Neil Brereton won the deciding match 26-17 to ensure the team's progress in the FA Cup of indoor bowls. Before the final game Bromsgrove and their opponents could not be separated.
At Bromsgrove the team of Peter Bryan, Tony Hall, Peter David and Marc Stones were held 21-21. Paul Kitchen, Mal Baker, John Cracknell and Rob McCaughtrie drew their match 16-16.
Stones dropped a shot, but McCaughtrie won one to make it 38-38 and leave it to Bromsgrove's two teams in Wiltshire to beat Christie Millar. The team containing father and son duos Adie and Gareth Burbidge and Martin and Richard Hall drew 19-19. But Bromsgrove saw off the opposition with a final push from the last quartet.
