REDDITCH Citizen's Advice Bureau (CAB) is kick-starting the new year by moving to new premises.

And manager Moira Morris hopes the new offices in St Stephen's House on Prospect Hill will help them offer a better service to the community.

"We will be offering the same range of services as we do now but residents wanting to access them will only be able to make appointments 24 hours in advance to avoid people forgetting them. This will help us be more efficient."

She said the CAB would offer a drop-in service in the mornings followed by scheduled appointments in the afternoon.

"The access will improve as a result of that, we hope. With the new way of working we hope we will be working smarter," she added.

The current CAB offices in Unicorn Hill will close this Saturday.

The new office will open after the new year Bank Holiday. A new telephone number for the offices in not yet available.
