SIR What a shambles. Good coverage in the Worcester News concerning Shrek meant that large crowds attended Worcester's Christmas lights switch-on.
However, there must have been hundreds of disappointed children, some in buggies, queueing up to see Shrek and not having as much as a glance of him. He was there for about five minutes for the lucky few at the front of the queue, allowing no time at all for all the children at the rear of the crowds.
Wouldn't it have been better for Shrek to have moved himself down the queues? I really am disgusted that such a wonderful event for children turned into such a shambolic affair leaving hundreds of children bewildered and very disappointed.
JACKIE HOLLIS,
