A SUCCESSFUL year-long campaign of developments and expansions at DRP Group has culminated in its biggest investment so far after five new members of staff were taken on.

The Hartlebury, near Worcester-based communications and presentations company has welcomed the new team members to its events and production departments.

Sebastian Bird joins as video editor, Ian Ruback is to be production manager and Mark Betson joins the production support team. In events, Matthew Franks becomes the latest project manager and Richard Parmenter will be undertaking a training and development programme as a junior show technician.

Dale Parmenter, managing director of DRP Group, said: "Throughout the year, we have invested in new equipment and new services as part of our 25th anniversary campaign. However, the biggest and most important investment we can ever make is people. I am therefore delighted to welcome such a large number of new staff all at the same time, which means we can continue to drive the company forward over the next 12 months. We are even planning on recruiting four more employees before Christmas.

"The appointments have been made across a range of levels to ensure experienced professionals join the company as well as more junior members who can learn about the industry and develop their career with us."

The new technical employees will be working with some of the best equipment in the industry. DRP is the first events company in the UK to use brand new audio equipment which enables long-term, unattended recording, and allows users to record audio files by pressing just one button. DRP's new studio totals 1,600 square feet and features video editing facilities and state-of-the-art high definition digital equipment. The DRP Group is one of the UK's leading presentation and communications companies, with 25 years of experience in events, exhibitions and video.
