Youngsters at a city primary school went back in time to find out what life was like as a Roman.
Paul Harding, of Hands on History, is pictured with Hollie Lunn, aged eight, and Matthew Moore, seven, from Northwick Manor Junior School, where they discovered what the Romans introduced to our country during their invasion of Britain.
The children dressed up as Roman soldiers and saw what weapons they would have used.
