FRANKIE Tsang, the proprietor of several Chinese and Thai restaurants in the Worcester area, is opening another outlet.
His latest venture is the former New Hing Thai restaurant, which stands beside the main Worcester-Malvern road at Powick. It was closed after a fire in April 2004 and was bought by Mr Tsang earlier this year.
He has since completely refurbished the building and, under the name of the New Four Seasons, is set to open in time for Christmas.
"I am very excited to be opening a new restaurant on the outskirts of Worcester; the venue is just perfect," said Mr Tsang. "We have spent considerable time and money on re-designing not only the dcor but also the kitchens. We have installed the latest equipment to ensure that the highest quality food can be quickly prepared on the premises. We shall be offering a full take-away service from Powick, complete with a fully-licensed bar for those who would like a refreshment while waiting for their order.
"The main restaurant will be able to accommodate 80 people and we have a dance floor for those special functions."
The restaurant has ample free parking and will be open from noon until 2.30pm for lunch and 5pm until midnight, seven days a week. There will also be a family buffet available on Sundays for those looking for a more exotic alternative to traditional Sunday lunches.
