FOR the second year running, the congregation at Redmarley Parish Church will be celebrating this holy season with a festival of Christmas trees from December 16-18. It begins with a preview on Friday evening, from 7pm-9pm, and on Saturday, December 17, the church will be open from 10am-6pm with light refreshments and stalls in the village hall. On Sunday, December 18, the church will again be open from 11am with the carol service in the evening.
Redmarley Women's Fellowship will be holding a carol concert in the village hall on Friday, December 9.
Kate Brazington, lay pastor and churchwarden at Redmarley Parish Church raised nearly £175 through the Gloucester Diocese sponsored bicycle/walk event. She was extremely lucky in not getting wet on her two-hour cycle ride, arriving back at Redmarley at noon just before a torrential storm.
St Bartholomew's Church, Redmarley will be holding its annual Christmas fayre tomorrow (Saturday) at the village hall from 2pm. There will be stalls, raffles etc and refreshments.
