EVESHAM United's attacking quartet possess enough firepower to safeguard the club's Southern Premier Division future, according to boss Dave Busst.

The rampant Robins stormed to their biggest win of the season last Saturday, thrashing rock-bottom Northwood 4-0 at foggy Common Road, a result that propelled them out of the relegation zone.

John Williams and Matt Lewis, two of United's more recent recruits, were among the goalscorers and Busst reckons there is more to come from his forward duo. Former Kidderminster Harriers striker Williams has struck up a good partnership with Richard Ball, while Lewis is performing well in a right-wing role.

With livewire Rob Taylor roaming down the left flank, Busst is more than happy with his attacking options.

"It was nice to get a few goals," admits Busst. "I'm pleased for Matt Lewis and John Williams. That's what I'm looking for from them.

"I brought Matt here as a forward, but John also fell into the same category. So Matt has been playing on the right wing and doing a good job. He's looked very effective.

"We have got forward players that are very adaptable. Even Rob Taylor on the left used to play up front at Stourport with Richard Ball. There are plenty of goals in us."

Busst added: "It was a good result (against Northwood). With the fog coming in, I thought it was going to be called off at half-time.

"It would have been a travesty had it been abandoned. If the score had been 0-0, the officials may have thought about it. But the players were not complaining."

Busst is now eyeing a first back-to-back double of the season as the Robins host King's Lynn tomorrow (3pm).

He added: "King's Lynn are doing well and they beat us 2-1 earlier in the season. But that was another of those games we felt we should have got a draw."
