ANOTHER success for Malvern Ladies on Saturday when they visited Worcester to meet Norton's fourth team.

WORCESTER NORTON IV 0, MALVERN LADIES 3

Despite most of the possession and pressure, Malvern were unable to finish any opportunities until a strike from Kt Smith was deflected by a Worcester defender into the goal. Several short-corners were awarded but Malvern were unable to follow them up.

Nikki Forecast was very unlucky not to score. She took on the Worcester defenders and was unfortunate to hit the post twice.

In the second half, Malvern showed their versatility and swapped positions, which allowed defender Anna MacCloud to score her first goal for Malvern, soon followed by her second, both stylish slips past the Worcester goalie.

Worcester upped the tempo and brought on ex-Malvern player Jenny White, but they were unable to break down Malvern, who defended well, particularly Nicky Harvey on her return to the team.

This was another well-deserved win in Malvern's successful season and keeps the pressure on top team Stourport.
