Stilton ice cream
STILTON cheese has long been a festive favourite - but now a Worcestershire firm is selling it in the form of ice cream.
Described as the perfect accompaniment to mince pies, the calorific treat is a mixture of blue Stilton and double cream.
According to the Stilton Cheese Makers Association, the ice cream "marries perfectly" with mincemeat. Association secretary Nigel White said: "Stilton ice cream and mince pies is the perfect twist this Christmas, as the same old traditional dishes become a little boring."
It can be ordered for same-day delivery from Churchfields Farmhouse in Salwarpe, Worcestershire, for £4.50 per litre or £7.60 per two litre tub.
