A TEAM of students who have been exploring how to relate Christian faith to their lives are set to be rewarded for their efforts in a ceremony this week.
More than 30 people will receive the Diocese of Worcester Bishop's Certi-ficates at a special presentation in the Old Palace off Deansway, next to Worc-ester Cathedral, at 7pm on Wednesday.
Participants in the year-long course, Discovering Christianity Together, which is designed to help people learn more about worship, scripture and history, are also helped to relate Christian faith to their lives and where they live. They have been covering subjects such as Christian faith and creeds, discipleship, themes from Old and New Testaments, the Holy Trinity and living as Christians with people of other faiths.
Previous students have come from all walks of life and live within the Diocese of Worcester.
The Bishop of Worcester, the Rt Revd Dr Peter Selby, will be present at Wednes-day's ceremony to hand out certificates to the successful students.
Anyone who is interested in participating in the next Bishop's Certificate course, which starts in September 2006, should contact Judy Baker on 01905 20537 or e-mail jbaker@cofe-worcester.org.uk
