PLANS to turn a fireworks shop in Barbourne, Worcester, into a takeaway food store and a second business are likely to be turned down this week.
The application is to alter the shop at 53 Barbourne Road, and split the premises into two stores.
One would be for A5 use - a hot food takeaway - while the other would most likely be a shop, caf or restaurant.
Planning officers say the smell and disturbance from food stores would be detrimental to neighbours.
City planners were considering the plan today.
