READERS in St John's are being given the chance to shape the future of their own library.
The Glebe Close library is set to be refurbished next year if plans are given the go-ahead and Worcestershire County Council wants its users and potential users to have their say.
The three-week survey kicked off this week and asks if residents would prefer more comfy seating, individual study areas, an exhibition area or an area specifically for teenagers.
A host of other options and questions are also asked to give planners a guide to what people most want from their library.
Community library manager Phil Adams added: "We hope people will help us improve their local library.
"This is a great opportunity for people to make a difference and have their views counted.
"We are really interested in hearing from groups that use the library at the moment as well as finding out what would encourage other people to come along and enjoy it."
Mr Adams said it would be unclear how much cash would be available for the project until April next year.
Completed forms can be returned to the library or sent via Freepost to County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester.
All surveys returned by December 12 will also be entered into a prize draw and the winner will receive £40 of gift vouchers for a store of their choice.
