RAIL operator First Great Western Link is helping to celebrate Worcester's Victorian Christmas Fayre by laying on additional trains to the city.
The company is putting on additional services between Oxford and Worcester Shrub Hill on Saturday, November 26, to help visitors travelling to the city for the event to get there.
The fayre officially opens at 5pm tonight and runs until Sunday, with about 10,000 visitors expected over the course of the event.
The additional service will leave Oxford at 11.29am and arrive at Worcester Shrub Hill at 12.56pm.
There will also be an additional service leaving Worcester Shrub Hill at 2.15pm returning to Oxford for 3.40pm.
Brendan Tally, First Great Western Link Station Manager for the North Cotswold Line said: "The Worcester Christmas Fayre is a great place to go, not only to soak up the great atmosphere of a traditional Victorian market, but also to pick up all sorts of great gifts.
"Travelling by train ensures that visitors can fully enjoy the fayre without having to worry about transport problems."
