STOURPORT Ladies continued their 100 per cent start to Midland Conference League life with after coming from behind to win at Northampton.
With just eight minutes to go they were trailing 2-1, but a late recovery secured a 3-2 victory that keeps them top of the league. They hope to extend the run away at North Notts at 10am on Saturday.
Stourport Ladies seconds suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to Redditch after a poor second half showing. But for good defending from play-of-the-match Vicky Bristow the deficit could have been greater.
They bid to bounce back at home to Worcester in Worcestershire Division One at 2pm on Saturday.
Meanwhile, both the ladies thirds and fourths will be back in action after their league matches last weekend were called off. The thirds host Droitwich at 12.30pm on Saturday, while the fourths travel to Harborne for a friendly at 3.30pm.
Kidderminster's match was also off.
