PEOPLE suspected of criminal damage in Wyre Forest have been targeted by a specialist team of top police officers.
The Uniformed Support Group - USG - was formed by West Mercia Constabulary to tackle persistent offenders in North Worcestershire, as part of the Local Policing initiative.
Some of the best performing officers in the division make up the USG, which includes eight constables and sergeant, Terry Shore.
He said: "The team will be highly visible, give support to local officers and will be expected to perform a high number of arrests, particularly targeting people wanted on warrant and persistent offenders."
