STOURPORT Swifts have thrown down the gauntlet to their goalkeepers after both dropped clangers in the last two games.
Eric Pudaloff was at fault for Beaconfield's goal in the 1-1 league draw last Saturday, while Aaron O'Malley was to blame during the 3-1 Senior Cup defeat to Worcester on Tuesday night.
Assistant boss Jake Findlay has warned a replacement stopper will be drafted in if Pudaloff and O'Malley continue to struggle between the sticks.
"We're in a bit of a quandary with the keepers at the moment," he admitted.
"We're trying to be fair to them by giving them a chance and seeing whose going to perform the best.
"But at the moment neither of them are doing themselves justice.
"I've been disappointed by the standard of keepers - I don't think I've seen a decent one in this league.
"But if you try and get someone in from a higher level, they want ridiculous money."
Meanwhile, Swifts have snapped up former Harriers youth team striker Aaron O'Farrell from Romulus after his spell at Cinderford.
He will be on the bench for Saturday's "must-win" home clash against fellow Southern League Division One West strugglers Burnham.
