Letters have been received from MPs Dr Richard Taylor and Bill Wiggins in reply to Far Forest's communication regarding child nutrition and adult education.
In March FFWI will host the group meeting, and other planned events include a visit to see The Mikado at The Swan Theatre, Worcester, an excursion to Knightwick in May, a strawberries and cream tea in June, a visit to Elgar's birthplace in July, an activity pack in August and a harvest supper in September.
Also garden afternoons and walks will be continued.
The November speakers were Arthur and Claire Radcliffe, from Detton Beef and Lamb.
Mrs Radcliffe talked about running their farm, while her husband cut up half a lamb carcass.
The competition was won by Edna Mills.
The next meeting, at Far Forest village hall, will be on December 13 at 7.30pm, when the Ladies Barbershop Chorus will entertain. Visitors will be welcome, and should telephone 01299 832164 for a ticket.
