St Richard's Hospice will throw open the doors to its new charity shop in Broadway next week.
The shop will open at 15 The Green, High Street, on Friday, December 2 and becomes the 11th charity store to be run by St Richard's in Worcestershire.
Funds raised from the shop will help provide specialist care for St Richard's Hospice patients and families living with cancer and other life-threatening illness.
Shops and commercial director Dan Corns said: "We are really looking forward to opening our new shop in Broadway. It will be a very different style charity shop, one unlike shoppers will have seen before. We are mixing contemporary with a touch of antiquity for a completely new look."
Shoppers are welcome to join the team of volunteer assistants from 10am on the opening day for a glass of mulled wine and mince pies.
Mr Corns explained: "The income from our St Richard's shops is a vital part of the total ongoing fundraising needed to ensure we can care for patients.
"Introducing a new shop in Broadway will ensure we can continue to raise the money needed now and to help fund the new St Richard's Hospice with a bedded unit which will open to patients next year."
St Richard's is currently based at Rose Hill, Worcester, and offers free services including a day hospice; home care team; bereavement, social work, family therapy and counselling service, 24-hour on-call advice line and The Snowdrop Group for young women living with cancer.
Building work has recently started on the new St Richard's Hospice near County Hall, Worcester, and campaigners are working to raise the remaining £250,000 needed to complete the Building Beds Together campaign.
