At the November annual meeting a minute's silence was held in memory of national president Barbara Gill who died recently.
Linda Sprosen gave details of the county quiz in February, the group to enter a team.
Sheila Noble reported on the group meeting on underwear, and a bead workshop had been held, with Shirley Allen.
Beryl Evans reported on the council meeting in Stourport, which included deaf , and partly-sighted, pianist Paul Whittaker, and talked about her WI holiday to Prague and Vienna.
Pat Bond succeeds Daphne Thompson as president. Treasurer Olive Broadfield was presented with a carrier bag of pennies, collected for the Associated Country Women of the World.
A "bring and buy" stall was held, and Sheila Hancox won the glass bowl for most competitions won.
At the Christmas party on Tuesday, December 13, at St Cecilia's Church hall, Kidderminster, Eric Hibbs is guest speaker. Members are asked to wear silly hats. Visitors will be welcome.
