PLANS for flood defences to protect residents living in Wribbenhall will be outlined during a meeting on Monday.
It is being hosted by the Bewdley Residents' Flood Committee at Bewdley Baptist Church, High Street at 7.30pm.
Ian Morris, the Environment Agency's area flood risk manager, will demonstrate how the Geodesign barriers work, show slides of their use at other sites and answer questions.
This week, Severn Trent Water completed the necessary work on the drains and culverts to accommodate the barriers.
The agency plans to run a trial of the barrier system from the bridge causeway, past Beale's Corner, along Stourport Road and tying in to the brick wall downstream of Millside Court.
Committee member, Gill Holland, said: "I would encourage anyone living in Wribbenhall whose house lies in the floodplain to come along to this meeting."
