A BEWDLEY nurse says teenagers are making her life a misery by vandalising her property and banging on her door and windows.
Carol Conway, of Winbrook, said a group of 10 teenagers, from Bewdley High School, regularly hit the door and windows of her cottage on their way to and from school.
She has had two panes of glass in her front door broken in separate incidents and her car wing mirrors have also been damaged twice during the past three weeks.
The second pane was broken on Wednesday last week and Miss Conway said she had received an apology from one boy who took responsibility for that incident.
The 59-year-old said the teenagers were causing disruption to her life as they knocked on her doors and windows in the early evening on their way into the town centre and on the way back.
She added she was unable to relax when she got home from work in the evenings, explaining: "I want to come home and do something like read or play the clarinet. I need some relaxation but that is spoilt by this behaviour. It just seems senseless to me."
Miss Conway said she had had problems on and off for the past 12 months and during the summer had flowerpots broken and stolen and plants outside her front door damaged.
She added: "I had a car cover and that was taken. I haven't replaced it because it is not worth it. Some of the things may seem small and insignificant but when you put them together they do drain you and you just feel 'I can't live like this'".
Bewdley beat manager, PC Nigel Barter, said: "Four incidents of criminal damage and breaches of the peace have been reported to us by a resident of Winbrook in the last month. We are paying attention to the address, have spoken to the parents of a juvenile girl, and are also liaising with the high school."
No one from the school was available to comment.
