HOMEMADE cakes and quiches were on offer when a Bewdley fund-raiser opened her door to raise money for a children's charity.
Cate Gillespie, of Richmond Road, held her 21st annual coffee morning in aid of the Save the Children Fund on Thursday, raising around £1,600.
She is a member of the Stourport and District branch of the Save the Children Fund and has raised almost £50,000 for the charity since she started in 1984.
Mrs Gillespie, who has also held lunches and Christmas bazaars, said: "I do feel very strongly that Save the Children is a very worthwhile charity. I have got two smashing children, a supportive husband and lots of friends - it is my way of putting something back in and helping other people."
