ANTI-social behaviour and speeding were among concerns identified by residents at a groundbreaking meeting in Bewdley recently.
More than 70 people, including Bewdley town councillors, attended the town's first Partners and Communities Together - PACT - meeting at Bewdley High School.
PACT meetings are part of a new Government-led initiative called Local Policing, which will see teams of police officers dedicated to a particular area tackling local issues at a local level.
Bewdley beat manager, PC Nigel Barter and Sgt Andrea Furniss sat on a panel with partner agencies and key community members to listen to the concerns of residents.
Following a vote, it was agreed that the issue of parking in Severnside North, anti-social behaviour in the town centre - particularly in the evenings - parking of commercial vehicles in the town centre and speed enforcement would all be looked at during the next month.
PC Barter said: "We were really pleased with the turn-out and we had some really positive comments from residents.
"The panel has now drawn up an action plan to look at the agreed priority areas and will report back on our progress at the next PACT meeting on December 6 at Bewdley High School," he added.
As a result of the meeting, a response crew was sent out in the town with a speed camera.
PC Barter said: "They will be back in various locations as a result of the issue being identified."
