COMPOST clinics will be just what the doctor ordered for anyone with queries on the subject.
The free sessions, being held in Kidderminster Town Hall next Tuesday between 2pm and 7pm, are designed to provide advice for people who have bought compost bins, thinking about buying them or need further help with them.
A home composting adviser from the Waste Resources and Action Programme - WRAP - will be available to give information such as how to make better compost.
Demonstrations will be held during the sessions and there will be the chance for one-to-one advice.
It is hoped that offering the sessions free will encourage more people to compost, with the spin-off benefit of reducing the amount of waste going to landfill.
Nicola Blight, Worcestershire County Council's project development officer for composting, said: "If members of the public have a compost bin hiding at the bottom of their garden - abandoned, unwell and showing symptoms of inactivity, they should come along to one of the county council's free compost clinics for a full diagnosis to kick start their composting."
