SIX sister companies have united under a single name in Kidderminster to offer a one-stop service.
The Veldonn Group, based in Clensmore Street, has been formed to provide print, design and promotional marketing.
With an annual turnover of £2.5 million, the group employs 35 people. It comprises Veldonn Printers, Vnet web designers, Gimmax promotional products, The Button Badge Company, A2B Couriers and Kidderminster Laminating.
Dale Horton, son of group chairman, Peter Horton, who founded Veldonn Printers in Kidderminster in 1968, said: "The decision to establish the Veldonn Group means a very exciting proposition for customers who will now be able to access an array of services from a single source.
"Veldonn is well known for its printing and design business so it made sense to capitalise on this reputation by promoting our other companies under a collective name."
The Horton family had acquired or established the various businesses now making up the combined group over the past 30 years.
Plastic badge maker, The Button Badge Company, was purchased in 1984. It makes millions of badges each year.
Gimmax and Vnet were both set up in 1997, while A2B Couriers was launched in 2001.
Key appointments have been made to the group's management team to coincide with the new name. Nicholas Mann, previously production manager, has been made works director, while Mark Bywater has been recruited as sales and marketing manager.
As part of a substantial investment programme, a £100,000 project to install computer-to-plate technology in the print production department was completed.
The Veldonn Group has clients all over the country, including companies in the retail, financial, construction and pharmaceutical sectors, as well as charities and local authorities.
