TWO established Worcester accountancy practices have recently merged and moved into city centre offices under the new practice name The Richards Sandy Partnership.
Sandy and Co, formerly based in St John's, and Rob Richards' clients from Richards Hinitt, formerly based in Sansome Walk, both provided a full range of accountancy and taxation services to owner-managed businesses.
The new offices are in Edgar Street, in the shadow of Worcester Cathedral, and are convenient for the city centre but have easy access through Kings Street car park.
Nick Sandy said: "Both practices have excellent reputations within the Worcester business community and it made total sense to bring both under one roof. We have always provided a personal yet professional service to our clients. However, the merger will allow us to increase the range of services that we offer clients and provides us with the resources to deal with all of our clients' needs".
Both Rob Richards and Nick Sandy are chartered accountants and live in Powick with their families and have known each other for several years through village organisations that both have been actively involved in.
Mr Richards said: "Right from the start, the merger seemed a very natural thing to do. It has been a coming together of like minds. Both of us have solid roots in Worcester and support Worcester Warriors, but most of all enjoy working with our clients providing a very personal service."
