REDDITCH hotshot Stevan Walton is shooting for the stars after finishing among the honours in South America.
The 20-year-old, from Vicarage View, Batchley, jetted off to Dubai last week to compete in clay pigeon shooting's World Cup final.
And early next year he will be heading to Cyprus to train with the GB squad ahead of the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.
Walton, whose speciality is the double trap, has been shooting since he was aged nine and has travelled all over the world.
Just 16 of the top gunmen were invited to the Dubai event with the Redditch ace securing his place after finishing second at a qualifying event in Brazil.
