STUDLEY crashed out of the Birmingham County Cup as hosts Stratford Town ran out 8-0 winners.
But Studley's hopes of causing an upset were not helped when they arrived at Stratford with the bare minimum of players.
The home side, who play in a division above Studley, had most of the opportunities and possession within the first half and they took their chances well to open up a 4-0 lead.
With Studley players' heads hanging low they came out after the break with pride to play for.
And the visitors certainly had more possession in the second half although they still failed to find the net.
With continuous attacking play coming in waves from Stratford, Studley couldn't hold the score at 4-0 and despite some excellent saves from goalkeeper Sam Lewis and good performances from a number of players, the game finished at 8-0 to Stratford Town.
Studley were far from disgraced by the scoreline and gave a respectable performance.
Sam Wilkinson won both the Referee's Player and Manager's Player award.
