Evesham Utd U-13 B 2,
Shipston Excelsior Panthers 0
FOR the best part of the first half, Evesham couldn't find a way past the Panthers' defence nor their athletic goalkeeper.
It needed some tenacious work in midfield by Bryn Tomes to create an opening that was flicked past the keeper by Henry Woods.
Leon Ballard produce a fine display in the Evesham goal including an excellent penalty save, while the back line of Owen Jones, Wes Burden, Andrew Powell, James Hitchman and James Coldrick, gave nothing away.
When Evesham were awarded a penalty in the second half, James Bearcroft made no mistake in extending the lead and securing the points.
