LOCAL businessman Chris Bonehill's pulling power with pints netted £239 for St Richard's Hospice when he made a special appearance at the Red Hart, Dormston, as guest barman.
Chris, from North Piddle, swapped his day job running contracting firm CJ Bonehill and dressed as a vicar to pull pints and practise his pub patter with regulars at the pub near Flyford Flavell.
Hospice community fund-raiser Alison Weston said: "Chris is a well-known local businessman and did a great job behind the bar.
"Lots of people came along to see him turn his hand to pub work and we were delighted with the money raised during the evening. We would like to say a big thank you to Chris, the pub and all those who donated."
St Richard's at Rose Hill, Worcester, offers free services to patients with cancer.
