I SHOULD like to express my thanks to Bromsgrove District Council for the recent installation of several dog waste bins around Blackwell.
After hearing people complain at the lack of these bins and the problem of irresponsible dog owners not cleaning up, I decided to put pen to paper and request a couple for our village.
Within a week of the letter being sent, we have two new bins available at each end of the village.
I'm sure I wasn't the only person to bring the problem up with the council, but it goes to show that it does listen and its well worth making your views felt for a good cause.
I've also now started litter collecting as I walk the dog. If everyone did a little then we could all be proud of where we live.
