TWO South Bromsgrove School pupils cooked up a recipe for success, finishing first and second in the Future Chef competition.
Year ten pupil Eleanor Schofield wowed the judges with her dish of poached duck breast and blackcurrant sauce, a trio of vegetable quenelles and a French apple tart.
While fellow pupil Katie Smaylen, in year nine, made it a double success for the school by finishing second.
Eleanor will now advance to the semi- finals of the competition, which take place at the Birmingham College of Food in January.
